Stock shortages - since the lockdown we have been having difficulties getting stock. Some factories have closed and others are operating on reduced hours. Shipping is also affected. Where possible we have sourced alternative products.
This costume is a fairly accurate depiction of what an evacuee schoolboy might have worn. This is great for studies of evacuees or WW2 re-enactment. Most of us will have seen images of the children leaving London for the countryside, and this is just the right costume to portray such an event. There is a long sleeved white shirt which comes with a tie. Over this is a sleeveless jumper in a maroon colour. Finally, to complete the look there is a pair of long shorts with an elasticated wasitband for a comfortable fit.
