Who is collecting the data?

Any data supplied to us is used by the Victorian School Ltd, and any agent that is necessary to comply with your instructions. Thus your address will be used by a delivery company to deliver your goods. If you subscribe to our newsletter we process the newsletter using MailChimp. Our sales order and invoice system is run on RomanCart. Our order fulfilment is carried out by Time4Outdoors, Taunton. We also use Google analytics on our website.

What data is being collected?

Any data which you supply to us. We do not have any other way of obtaining data, and we do not buy in mailing lists. By visiting our website certain information is collected automatically such as your IP address and your browser type.

What is the basis for processing the data?

We are governed by English law and the basis for using your data includes consent (to keep you informed if you have subscribed to our newsletter) and contract (to process orders).

Will the data be shared with any third parties?

We do not sell or share any data to any third party unless legally required to do so. The only data that is shared is that needed to fulfil your instructions as detailed above. We do not use underhand practices on our website such as hidden beacons, browser fingerprinting or clickstream tracking, and as far as possible we reject any attempt by third parties to obtain information to which they are not entitled. Cookies are used for the ordering system, but we advise you to delete them when exiting your browser or using a browser add-on. We use payment systems to accept your order; Paypal and Barclays EPDQ have their own privacy notices. You may also pay direct using bank transfer or by sending a cheque and each bank will have its own privacy and security processes to keep your information safe.

How will the information be used?

For the fulfilment of your instructions. We might also use data in an anonymous form to analyse sales information or to track the platforms on which the website is viewed so that we can optimise website design.

How long will the data be stored for?

Only for as long as necessary to fulfil the instructions, or to comply with legal requirements, with some leeway to allow time for data culling processing.
