Visits to your Victorian or Edwardian Event

Visits to your Victorian or Edwardian Event

From time to time we get asked to take part in other types of events. Here are some of the things we may be able to help you with.

Centenary and Anniversary events

These are very popular and may include Victorian fairs, or Victorian fun days of various sorts. We can help by providing lessons for all ages, or organising vintage games, craft or experience activities. What you can do is only limited by your imagination.

Speaking, Seminars and Teaching

Sometimes people want a more detailed look at Victorian education and we can provide talks on aspects of the Victorian or Edwardian period. We will consider almost any sort of event, but do take into account the cost when making enquiries.

Re-enactment

There are sometimes events that require a Victorian teacher to be present, without necessary including teaching or speaking.

Charity and Community events

We will consider charity event requests, and may be able to reduce our charges in some cases.

Corporate events

Perhaps you have a corporate event where a visit from a Victorian headmaster might sort out those wayward salespeople or slow office staff, or the Headmaster might be able to give a little Victorian motivation to the workforce.

What it costs

Events will be assessed on an individual basis and our charges will be based on factors including distance, whether it is a weekday or weekend, and what the event is for. We are very busy, especially during term time, so the more notice you can give, the more chance we can do it. Please supply as much information as you can, so that we can consider your request.
